Vapor", Prime Minister Seki in "Gorath", and the Chairman of the Earth
Committee in "Godzilla vs. Monster Zero", is born in Hokkaido. The
father-in-law of Minoru Chiaki and grandfather of Katsuhiko Sasaki, he
was also in "Don't Call Me a Con Man".
1899: EDWARD G. BOYLE, set decorator for "The Beast from 20,000
Fathoms", is born in Cobden, Ont.
1906: TERRY O. MORSE, director of the American-filmed scenes in
"Godzilla, King of the Monsters", is born in St. Louis.
1927: KOTARO TOMITA, who played a villager in "Ghidrah, the Three-
Headed Monster", the lead Seatopian agent in "Godzilla vs. Megalon",
and Professor Ota in "Terror of Mechagodzilla", is born in Kumamoto-
Ken, Japan.
1928: TATSUO ENDO, who played Gunjuro in "Daimajin", is born in Kyoto.
1949: JIRO DAN, who played Hideki Go a.k.a. Ultraman Jack on "Return
of Ultraman", "Ultraman Mebius", "Ultraman Mebius and Ultraman
Brothers", "The Superior Ultraman 8 Brothers", and “Mega Monster
Battle: Ultra Galaxy”, is born in Kyoto. He also played George Gamou
in the original unaired pilot of "Spectreman" and Ikki Kasumi on
"Ninja Squadron Hurricanger".
1966: Episode 5 of "Ultra Q", "Pegila Has Come", debuts on Japanese
TV.
1967: Episode 31 of "The Space Giants", "Gorda", debuts on Japanese
TV.
1969: JACK DIETZ, who co-produced "The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms" and
"The Black Scorpion", dies in Boston.
1972: SO YAMANAKA, who was in the “Kamen Rider Hibiki” movie, is born
in Ibaraki, Japan.
1979: MICHELLE LANGSTONE, who played Dr. Katherine "Kat" Manx the Cat
Ranger on "Power Rangers S.P.D." and Master Guin on "Power Rangers
Jungle Fury", is born in New Zealand.
1981: Episode 15 of "Kamen Rider Super-1" debuts on Japanese TV.
1982: Episode 50, the final episode of "Solar Squadron Sunvulcan",
"Aurora of Hope", debuts on Japanese TV.
1988: "Teito monogatari" a.k.a. "Tokyo: The Last Megalopolis" is

1993: H.M. WYNANT, who played an IXL executive in "Solar Crisis",

2000: "Kamen Raidaa Kuuga" ("Masked Rider Kuuga") a.k.a. "Kamen Rider

2003: "The Ring" is released in Argentina.
2004: "Zebraman" has its world premiere at the International Film
