1915: WILLIAM HOPPER, who played Dr. Ned Jackson in "The Deadly
Mantis" and Col. Robert Calder in "20 Million Miles to Earth", is born
in New York City. The son of gossip columnist Hedda Hopper, he is best
remembered as Paul Drake on "Perry Mason".
JACQUES R. MARQUETTE, cinematographer on the U.S. inserts for
"Varan the Unbelievable", is born in New York City. He also produced
"The Brain from Planet Arous" and "Teenage Monster".


1949: TOMOKO OGAWA, who played Sunate in "The Magic Serpent", is born
in Hiroshima.

1969: Episode 20 of “Operation: Mystery” debuts on Japanese TV.

1973: Episode 17 of "Warrior of Love Rainbowman", "Witchcraft-Human
Petrification!!", debuts on Japanese TV.
Episode 43 of "Transforming Ninja Arashi", debuts on Japanese TV.

1974: Episode 37 of "Kikaida 01", "Master Swordsman: Waruda Emerges
Through the Mist", debuts on Japanese TV.

1979: SARA RUE, who played the babysitter in "The Ring", is born in

1985: Episode 51, the final episode of "Super Electron Bioman",

1996: Episode 44 of "Superpower Squadron Ohranger", "World's Strongest
Beauty", debuts on Japanese TV.

2003: "Kamen Rider 555" ("Masked Rider 555") a.k.a. "Kamen Rider
Faizu" premieres on Japanese TV.

2007: "Ultraman Mebius & Ultraman Brothers" is released on DVD in
