This was an event that broke my heart. That and when my beloved Manchester
City got relegated.
City got relegated.
In 1986, the British pop duo Wham! announced they were breaking up. George
Michael and Andrew Ridgeley said they were going their separate ways after
selling more than 30 million copies of such hits as "Wake Me Up Before You
Go-Go," "Careless Whisper" and "Edge of Heaven." Michael said he would
continue writing songs and singing while Ridgeley said he wanted an acting
career.

Andrew didn't do acting job later? He spent some time on car racing
and then he came back! The first and the last personal record, "Son
of Albert" was produced. Actually, it's not too bad, maybe his harder
rock style was not so popular and not accepted by most of the old
Wham's fans.
