You're So Vain, You Probably Think the Bible's About You

(Lyrics by Bill Conover, sung to Carly Simon's "You're So Vain")

You walked up to the pulpit, Like you were a man of God
Your hair strategically cut to the new style
That Bieber was making hot
You had one eye on the camera as you watched the crowd applaud
All the pastors dreamed that you’d be there mentor
You’d be there mentor and…

Your so vain, you probably think the bible’s about you
Your so vain, I bet you think the bible’s about you
Don’t you, Don’t you?

You fooled me several years ago, When I was a young sheep
Well you said that we were made to serve
And my tithe was all you’d need
But you twisted up the bible so much and no one said a peep
I was in fear , then I heard the real gospel
I heard the real gospel, and…

Your so vain, you probably think the bible’s about you
Your so vain, I bet you think the bible’s about you
Don’t you, Don’t you?

I saw this once before about 2007
in North Hills.

and this one was the same track as shuttle the night we viewed it
over Los Angeles except for maybe 10 degrees south and 10 degrees
lower in the sky.
The shuttle was directly over head.

It seemed to be going south east since the contrail did look weaker in
the opposite direction.

I saw another Aurora contrail in the sky today.
I got a shot and I wanted to get a longer panorama shot
because it went from horizon to horizon amazing...

To put the picture in better contrast there was a passenger jet going
by in the sky
that has a tiny contrail and much higher up than this monster.

I imaging the vehicle went past in a minute considering the shuttle
went past in about 3 minutes
so you could consider about 50,000 mph three times faster than shuttle
at 16,000mph.

http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d101/geraldkrug/LAcontrail.jpg

Usually contrails disappear quickly like within the length of a foot
ruler held out
in front of you at arms length.

But this glory was still straight and fresh horizon to Horizon...

From NASA...

http://spaceflight.nasa.gov/shuttle/reference/faq/sightings.html

Why is there a glowing, white contrail that stretches from horizon to
horizon as the Shuttle orbiter crosses overhead before landing?
The orbiter's speed heats the surrounding atmosphere to several
thousands of degrees Fahrenheit. This temperature is great enough to
strip some electrons from atoms in the air, creating an ionized
plasma. The free electrons generate visible light as they escape from
and recombine with atoms. This luminous "ion sheet" or "plasma trail"
is fundamentally different from a conventional jet airplane contrail,
which would be invisible on a moonless night.

Yeah, I bet there can be hundreds of lyrics to that song now!

Some written on toilet paper too.

Good one matt2442.

I'm glad I gave it no credence and instead I took the thread.

WM-Yea Gene did in fact.....certain parts...."...preacher from the
east"   some others. Heck I heard Pastor Fulture say, and posted it
here, that his church was, his body was mentioned in the book of
revelation. He sure did.

Matt2442:
I can believe that Fulcher would say something like that. Has anybody
tuned in his internet channel recently, just for fun? I still wonder
how many ex-King's Houses he reeled in after Scott died.
