My computer speakers, tastefully finished in acrylic cheetah plush :)

and stray resonances)

I'll count it if you'll count my Garfield bookend. Other things I can
see
by twisitng and turning a bit include two plushies, two (printouts of)
pictures of my character (can be seen on my website btw - plug, plug),
a Grimmy poster, two disney postcards (B&B and Aristocats) and a
Fantasia
tape (centaurs etc. are furry aren't they?), some printouts of
Blackrabbit's
Sabrina strips (the Schwartz ones are hidden under something), a copy of
some
sketches a friend made of his character... oh, and a Sword in the Stone
tape
(remember the transformation scenes?). Uhm, that's it. If I shrink the
news-
reader window I can see the icon for my MU* client (a picture of Flower,
can
also be found on the site).

towel(also "T" shirt, hat, and puppet), one of the Coca Cola polar bear mug
sets. A diecast Dodge Ram pickup truck(Okay... That one is pushing it).
Collection of years of EQ and varied furry mags.(Wolves... They got
WOLVES!). a thunderstorm outside.... wait.. what is that doing here? OH

Let's see...
Artwork: To the right are two framed Terrie Smith prints, to the left
one Michelle Light and a Phil Bolton original. Right behind the PC is
a *huge* Brandenburg wildlife photo, titled 'Peace in the forrest'
that I bought from a Nature's Niche store before they all went
belly-up. To it's right is a 'Disney-approved' sketch of Simba as a
lion-cub (bought at Disney's 'Wild Kingdom' theme park...Monica Willis
sketched it right in front of me, stuck it in a frame, and sold it to
me inside of 15 minutes.)
Behind me on the shelf is...lessee...plushies;
The dragon from Disney's 'Sleeping Beauty' (Purchased from the MGM
Theme park)
A stuffed panda and Racoon from Epcot Center,
Figment the Dragon from Epcot,
A stuffed porcupine plush hand-puppet sent to me by my beloved.
(Yes. A stuffed porcupine!)
...and a stuffed skunk that somehow turned up one day....
Below that are a few videos I own;
Dragon-Half
The Animals of Farthing Wood
Balto
Animalympics
Free Willy 1 and 2
Antz
Right now inside my Playstaion;
Bloody Roar II
On the Far wall:
A Michael Parks print...erm...it's got geese in it
An original peice comissioned from Michalel Pena (heck of a nice guy
and fuzzy artist) with a red forrest dragon.
A Michelle Light 'Excuse for everyday calander'. This month's pin-up:
Southern Skunkette!
And, if I close the window on this PC (and a few others), I'll be
looking at both Nakira's drawing of Jim Groat's 'Red Shetland',and
also the RSCA Fox 'Deskmate' (little foxes run around your desktop!)
Whew!
Gregg Stillman (Poxx-y Pine)
: A Red XIII figurine (from Final Fantasy VII).

Above my monitor, an AltarSkunk and a Pantheris plushie, directly to my
right are four Urban Wolves strips, six Limpiditys, and six WCotPs, behind
me hanging from the keychain hook in my backpack is a keychain with a
small bear plush, but no keys. Next to the backpack on my bookshelf is a
Chinese bear candle and a bear mountie plushie. On the shelf above my bed
are two bear plushies.

First and formost, the background of my computer is a picture of Nala and
Simba *together* (tasteful ;) in their waterfall paradise. Sitting atop my
monitor, a ceramic fox figurine given me by a dear friend. On the wall to my
left, a large tapestry of a cheetah sitting on a mound.
On the wall in front of me to the left, a framed bald eagle and beside
that, a poster of a fearsome black panther with "Dance of the Panther" by PMC
printed on crimson paper beside it. To the right on the wall in front of me,
several framed pieces of furry artwork and nature pictures, including a fox in
deep woods and a pack of wolves howling against the full moon.
To the right on the wall in front of me are fantasy posters and pictures of
dragons and unicorns. On the wall to my right, TLK posters including Nala and
Simba nuzzling in their waterfall paradise (can you guess I'm a TLK fan too? ;)
and the younger pair romping in the elephant graveyard. Also, a framed picture
of young Copper and Todd together, given me by another good friend. Since all
my plushes, comics and zines are in my room, those can't be counted. <sigh>

Xydexx's Squeaky Little Pony Page:
http://www.smart.net/~xydexx/squeakypony/ponypage.htm
on the shelves behind my monitor:
one "Roary" beanie baby given to me by Kimba W. Lion & family a christmas or two
agoo..
a little plaster coyote sculpture, seated and howling, with two chipped ears,
given to me on my 15th birthday by my best friend of over a decade..
a little sketch of a fox-morph on a torn piece of posterboard, with a floating,
glowing skull in the background. the fox-morph is pointing behind himself with
both thumbs, saying "is it still there?" it's a play on a comic strip called
"Red Meat" by Max Cannon which appears in numerous free weekly papers and can be
seen on the "AV" section of the Onion. Jason sketched it during the furry party
held at last year's San Diego Comic Con, when most of the people seated around
the table spent the majority of the night laughing their collective tails off. i
asked for it, he gave it to me.
on the plant-hook in the ceiling near the teevee:
all of my old con badges that i can still find, along with some buttons, all hung
together. i have, in descending order, my cf10 badge complete with volunteer
sticker and Squirreltail Paw of Pointing, a Sidney Fisher pin from the same,
a con badge of my furry persona sketched for me by Jim Groat at the first
Albany Anthrocon, a saturday day pass to last year's SDCC given to me by a
generous friend, a HAVOC, INC. button of Chester & Deck similarly made possible,
my badge from the first Albany Anthrocon, complete with lame desert sketch by
yours truly, a button for Albany Anthrocon acquired at CF8, and lastly, my CF8
con badge, sans anything but my real name. Rainshadow wasn't born yet.
missing is my badge from CF5 and my badge from CF9.
on the wall in the hallway behind me:
a most excellent original pencil and colored pen drawing of a coyote femme
named Nanimwe, by Conrad Wong. bought for a song at the charity auction at the
first AAC. in a custom gold colored frame with UV-blocking glass.
in the kitchen on the windowsill:
another plaster coyote, this one hollow, bought by me for myself on the second
day of a two-week roadtrip i took during the summer after i graduated from uc
santa cruz. i found him in a little pottery & southwestern trinket shop somewhere
on the outskirts of Tucson in 1996. survived the ride all the way to Taos, New
Mexico & back without a scratch.
in the hallway leading to the bathroom:
a cool original by Michelle Light named Darlene; a wolf-morph femme with raven
hair and gang-girl looks that is all that and a bowl of grits. picked her up at
CF8. also framed with UV glass.
in the bedroom, currently:
"Otter Ballet" by Ginger/Jessica Willard, pencil and colored marker on some sort
of paper. one of the most amazing couple drawings i have ever seen.. perfect.
custom frame again, as above.
in the bedroom, sometimes:
a coyote morph original by Terrie Smith named "Werner". received as a commission
sometime in 1996, shortly after i became active again after my introduction to
fandom in 1994. for those familiar with him, no explanation necessary. one of
those things...
waiting to get framed:
"Smoke", by Margaret Petrie, another coyote morph in colored pencil on black
posterboard background. very serious. Page #8 of HAVOC, INC. #2, in mylar. the
best facial expression on Chester i have yet to see.
in a box in the closet:
"Xeria's Bow", by Lance Rund. original bought in the CF5 art show a long time
ago. "The Giant White Striped Mouse" and another one whose name escapes me by
Brian "Squirreltail" O'Dell, bought at CF8 i think. a painted original of a
topless wolf femme holding a decorated hide behind her like a sail with a pueblo
in the background, painted by someone whose name i can't decipher and given to me
as a christmas present by Witchcat about a year and a half ago. all framed.
... *drumroll* and finally:
one little Wile E. Coyote plush, bought for me for myself at the ripe old age of
15, as a consolation prize for a girl who looked like Ariel who wouldn't go out
with me despite my best efforts to the contrary. he has followed me around for a
long, long time. he was around when all of this began; he'll probably see it
end, too.
and that is that.

Cool. Red Meat is fun. Does it look like the guy? I like that
character.
As for myself, the only thing in view is the dragon origami on top of

Well...
A fish table (My mom got it for me. Why, I don't know. It's a fish. It's
a table. Be awed.)
Two dragon toys (One is Draco from Dragonheart, the other is a McD
thing)
Random fox plush on the couch that my cat is snuggling with. How she can
do that I dunno. It's about 100 degrees in here.
Dragon shaped candle
Dragon ying-yang poster
Art print of dragon. "Oriental Delight" by Lucy Synk
Pencil drawing my sister did for me. It's good! =)
Art print of "Le Blanc-seing" by Rene Magritte. (Ok, so it's not really
furry, but it's neat.
http://www.calvin.edu/~mvnoor68/surrealism/magritte/sib.htm if you're
curious.)
Four bean things on top of my monitor (Shark, bunny, rat, fox)
Two calendars (Horse, Polar Bear)
Print/poster of Polar bear
Small stack of plushies.
If I stand up and walk two feet to my left and look into the kitchen, I
can see the two dead geese hanging upside down on the wall. One is
wearing a dress and bonnet. The other is wearing overalls and a straw
hat. Very scary. Long story, but they have to stay there or I lose my
living room lamps.
And... umm. My cat is furry. Not for long, tho, at the rate she's
shedding.

Atara

Well, the study/office in my apartment is the "dragon room", with most of
the art covering the walls being of dragons. Judge for yourself whether
the many dragon prints and posters count as furries or not. The tons of
loose stuff on the floor and the desk ebbs and flows and might contain
all sorts of things on any given day. Let's see what I can spot right now.
On top of the monitor is a plush snow leopard, wearing some Mardi Gras
beads from Austin's first attempt at getting an annual Mardi Gras parade
going. On the wall behind the monitor there's an origami fox-morph
tacked to the wall - my business partner made that, I still need to get
her to teach me that fold. There's also a Furcadia kiwi I made with
plastic fuse-beads. Recreating small shapes from computer graphics is
pretty easy in the fuse-bead medium. :X) On top of the halogen desk
lamp is a beautiful little wolf sculpture I got at Confurence - wish I
could remember the sculptor's name, she's very good. And a plastic Zazu
figurine. Three dragons and a griffon too. On the desk there's a plush
ferret and a plush fennec fox. Taped to the bottom of the monitor
there's a little teeny test printout of a drawing of a mouse-morph with a
ribbon tied in a bow on her tail.
The door is open at the moment, and behind the hanging-shelving my
partner put up, there's still a bunch of Eric Elliott art - great stuff.
And a printout of the "whoops whoops whoops" fox slipping on a banana
that used to be the "page not found" graphic on one of the furry
archives. (rat.org maybe? I forget). To the left of the door is a
Wallace and Grommet calendar - Grommet is definitely a furry. Over that
is a Furcadia clock Talzhemir made by cutting our t-shirt design of the
lion-morph riding a scarhawk into a circle and sliding it inside a cheap
clock. The battery has long since died and we never bothered to replace it.
There's a mobile of four orcas hanging from the ceiling - not really
furries so much as just animals. There's a mug being used as a pen and
pencil holder on top of Talzhemir's desk, with a sculpted plastic toon
face sticking out from the side of it - maybe it's a Taz? I can't tell
from here. There's a Brian Harp sketch sitting to the side of me that I
used earlier tonight to test out the new printer/fax/scanner/copier in
its copier mode. (No, I won't give the copy to anybody. Don't have
Brian's purrmission to do so.) There's an aromatherapy & massage bunny
sitting in its packaging on the floor. Never put the batteries in it to
see what it does, but it was too weird an item not to buy as a curiosity
and conversation piece. :X)
On the bookshelf I see a toy of the two hippos from Animaniacs - probably
an old Happy Meal toy. Also a Slappy Squirrel piloting a helicopter, and
a boxed copy of Inherit The Earth. On the windowsill there's a teddy
bear (don't know where that came from, normally bears are the one kind of
plush I have an unreasonable prejudice against - they drive too many
other good animals outa the market because of the long held prejudice
that stuffed animals are supposed to be teddy bears (but the beanie baby
craze has finally defused that I think!)). And a sculpture of a black
and white unicorn rearing up and crossing horns (which are coated with
gold), a plastic Pluto toy, a 101 Dalamatians christmas ornament, a
Puumba and Timon Happy Meal toy, a friction powered rolling mouse toy, a
Felix the Cat spinning "executive decision maker" (kind of like a Magic 8
ball", and a foam rolling mouse toy that you propell by pulling up on a
string attached to a stone spool inside it that has a rubber band and
stuff. Heck I dunno how the mouse works, ask MacGyver.
There's also a Poke'mon mini-comic here that came with the first Poke'mon
video tape, and I think I see part of the stripey tail of my little
stuffed lemur behind a pile of junk on the desk. And maybe what could be
my zebra earmuffs behind the monitor? Stray Cats Greatest Hits - that
doesn't really count, though I do love Stray Cat Strut. :X) A Hello Kitty
Tarot Deck... And let's see, looking out the doorway into the hall I can
see a string of postcards with white and orange tiger photos, a fox tail,
a Shon Howell hand colored print, a piece of Furcadia art (Aristaya the
unicorn), a cardboard bat mask... Oh and let's see, on the floor in here
I can see an issue of Usagi Yojimbo, a Genus, and an American Journal of
Anthropomorphics. Also the box for Timon and Puumba's Jungle Games.
Oh and way up on the wall by the window, there's a photo of me with my
face all painted up in zebra stripes, from some years back at Eeyore's
Birthday party. That was a lot of fun. I was painted all the way down
to the waist, though you can't see it in this photo. :X)
Well I could probably spot more if I looked around carefully, or stood up
or looked around the corner of the desk. But I haveta stop somewhere.

(Disclaimer: I'm glad you didn't ask for a list of NON-furry things I can
see in here. Or how many furry things I could see in the living room.
Ok, ok, I have way too much Stuff. I am clearly a waste of flesh, I'll
go and report to the extermination chambers first thing on monday.)
(But wait there's more: Oh look, there's the White Rabbit from Alice in
Wonderland next to the light switch! And I think that's the card a
friend sent me with two cats singing out in the hall, and I can see a bit
of the fox mask by the bat mask, and...)
(Say, are people really claiming this hobby isn't any fun any more? :X)
(Hey, I have to have all these toys and crap. I try to make fun stuff
for a living, so all this stuff is for "fun research"!)
On top of monitor of the computer I'm typing this on (we have several), is
a stuffed toy horse wearing a t-shirt for Angeles Crest Christian Camp,
that Vicky brought me back from same, a fox eraser, and a clear plastic
frog. On the computer itself there's a Nerdluck stuffie from Space Jam, a
101 Dalmations snowglobe in the shape of a snowman, a pin of a cat playing
a sort of mutant banjo that I wear at filksings, an eraser in the shape of
a chicken head, and a snowy owl that's part of a hair ornament I really do
have to find the rest of sometime. Oh yea, and a lump of beeswax (Hey, bees
are fuzzy.)
The computer also sort of counts as it's got StormGate Aerie BBS on it and
it's part of FurNet.
Looking to my left, I dunno if this counts as furry, exactly, but there's a
framed portrait of Leeta from Elfquest. On top of the computer to my left
is a plastic "Slimer" from Ghostbusters. On the wall behind me is a framed
picture of a unicorn, a pegasus, and their winged and horned child. There
is also an oil (or maybe acrylic, I don't remember) painting entitled "The
Innate Graniness of the Universe" which has all sorts of things in it
depending on how you look at it, and some of the things are animals so
maybe it counts too.:-> If I lean over and look at the side of the
bookcase next to the door I see "First Flight", a painting of a proud
mother dragon flying along with her three kids who are wearing training
balloons. Two are doing fine, the third is still having a bit of trouble.
I can see a copy of the Dallas Brawl from here - can't actually see the
title, but I know what it is.
That's about it for furry stuff unless you count the box EL-FISH came in
(an on-screen aquarium, that, alas, didn't work too well with our
equipment). And while it's not furry, I'm rather fond of the framed quote
from Hunter S. Thompson "When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.".
The door is open, so I can see into the hall where there framed pictures of
another dragon, an L'Drey singer standing in a spotlight, four fox cubs up
a stump warily eying a skunk kit at the base, and Fa Shimbo's Sirhuran the
Black Unicorn asking a nervous virgin "What a ride, little girl?"
I can see the TV from here which is currently playing the Eddie Murphy "Dr
Doolittle", and a tiger just walked across the screen.
And down on the floor whence I should remove it and toss it back in the
trash is an envelope with a green frog sticker on it. On second thought, I
think I'll keep the frog. :->

Oh no! Fox beware there out to erase you.
Well, lesse...
Starting with the left: on the wall is a framed Cerebus-Hepcats Jam '92
poster, autographed & drawn on by Dave Sim & Martin Wagner. *sigh*
Below is a bookcase full of computer books, along with copies of INHERIT
THE EARTH and OTHER SUNS (also FREAK SHOW by the Residents!).
Next to the bookcase is a CD/video rack containing numerous cartoon
videos (Warner, Disney, MGM and ROCKY & BULLWINKEL), as well as various
CF & AAC highlights tapes (and various Monty Python tapes). A few
"furry" CDs, including FURRY FANTASIES II, a CF10 purchase.
A Bookcase holding a load of comix, including Donna Barr, CEREBUS, Matt
Howarth and so forth - not particulary furry, but close enuff. On top of
this case is a small tin box covered with what looks like Grateful Dead
dancing bears, containing con badges and a huge number of pins of a
furry nature.
The front wall: another bookcase, manga stuff including GOLD DIGGER,
Manabe and so on.
Another case, actually a multi-media thing for TVs, containg more loose
tapes (I can see MY NEIGHBOR TOTORA from here). In front of this is a
large legal-size-paper box *full* of extra zines - not as bad as MMM has
it, but still...
Still another a set of bookcases, running up the right-hand side,
containing my main furry stash - from ALBEDO to ZU, RPGs, calendars,
portfolios, APAs etc etc etc. On the floor lie various items not yet put
away for various reasons, such as the latest USAGI YOJIMBO, Mark
Wallace's VIXEN'S KEEP, TOON TALES, Andre Norton's FUR MAGIC...
On the right wall is the framed original cover art by Terrie Smith for
RED SHETLAND #7. Underneath on top of the case is a tiger-striped
Garfield I rescued from a dumpster - due to this unkind treatment, he is
currently wielding what appears to be a bazooka, making him a sort of
bodyguard for Red.
Behind me at my right shoulder is a ferret calendar (June is two
bewildered-looking weezils emerging from German beer steins).
Just this room. The adjoining room is likewise befurred, especially the
closet where lurks other furry artwork that lack wallspace. Ah, well...
