I didn't know the BBC published a magazine...

Not too bad as these sort of things go; felt to me like the author was
trying to take a fair look at things rather than indulge in the usual
'lookit the weirdoes' angle.

BTW, I agree with 'Ellen'. Real animals have short, difficult lives.
Especially wild ones. I doubt theres many wildlife biologists who are
"furry".
