Though the Elmer Fudd "pet" wouldn't bother him in the least. Chuck
Jones has commented in several places that Freling loathed the character
(considering him an ineffectual boob), and created Yosemite Sam to
replace him as a foil, rather than continuing to use Fudd as a part of
his Bugs Bunny shorts.

Freling, however, was a fancier of stupid mail programs. Particularly
the ones which lock up several times running, then take it into their
little wire-trimmed skulls to send the message multiple times.

And now for a bit of computer belaboring with my Acme Rather Large
Mallet...

ARRGH! Elmer Fudd with hair?! Chia hair, no less?! I really should
cross-post this to rec.arts.anime.misc: at least we're used to
green-haired characters over there.

Sounds like the Rabbit of Seville.

Hmmm. Come to think of it, I *would* like to hear Isaac Hayes read _The
Song of Hiawatha_ as a coffee-house Beat poem of the 1950's, complete with
Jazz/Blues background accompaniment (sort of like Tom Waits' "Small Change
Got Rained On With His Own .38"). It would give a new and interesting
twist to a poem that has its merits (OK, I said it sucked, but it doesn't
*entirely* suck), but has become a cliche from having been done the same
way over and over aqgain.
