So with halloween approaching, the question must be asked: What is
everyone going as for halloween? Even if it is just to hand out candy.
Post your photos here! Personally, I am going as myself. Next year I
will have my fursuit made.

Let's face it, just about everyone this year will be going as one of the South
Park kids, but I bet I'll be the only guy in all of San Diego to be going as
Mr. Hankey.

ROTFLMAO "I can just see that.

Me, I am me and will give out candies rather than go anywhere.

My problem is that I don't even have to *try* to look like a cartoon character.
The students in my town's school district say I'm the spitting image of Ned
Flanders from "The Simpsons". I'm just waiting for Hollywood to do a live
action movie based on the show -- I'd probably have part sewn up! ;P

OH my GOD!
The people down the street filled Kenny!
You bastards!

As for me, I'll probably wander with my daughter
(a leopard) in my tail (a wolf). Odd that my mundane
wife is so excited by this time of year... she thinks it
silly normally.

I plan to go as the Phantom of the Opera, as for my SO, she plans to be a harem
girl. Next year though, I plan on having my fursuit ready to go.

Yeah, I usually dress up. But it's not a costume, it's
usually camouflage. That way the evil little "Power Rangers"
can't see me when I'm hiding in a tree with my BB gun taking pot-
-shots at 'em.
Considering that my AlterEg is an iguana, who
know's. Maybe I AM playing the part.

I'm going out as a 'beatnik werewolf', complete with beret, wire-rim
glasses, and cool poetry!
A sample:

Growl snarl snarl,
snarl growl growl gowl,
growl snarl growl snarl snarl
growl growl growl growl
Arooooooooooo!!!!

Thank you.

Wanderer sighs. "No fursuit, nor any chance of one in the offing", he
grumbles. "Come All Hallow's Eventide, I'll be handing out candy in regular
clothes ... the last costume I tried was a bog mistake." He puts a paw to
his forehead and whimpers gently. "I picked up a shadow robe at Party City
that year, since it was on sale. 'Give them a thrill', I said to myself,
'hand out candy in costume ... what can it hurt?'. Oy ... "

Wanderer rubs his forehead, looking like he has a headache at the very
thought. "Just in case there's anyone who doesn't know, by 'shadow robe' I
mean one of those robes with a black gauze over the face. Seen from the
outside, it looks like the cowl of the robe is empty."

Wanderer winces. "Unfortunately, I neglected to take into account what that
outfit would look like with my pale, skinny arms coming out of the sleeves
under the dim yellow porchlight we had at the time."

Wanderer looks down at the ground. "The first group we got numbered six
when I peeked through the window ... and only one when I opened the door."
He looks shamefaced. "Number two was a woman with her two little kids
dressed up as the black and pink Power Rangers ... and she was almost as
scared as the kids." Then he adds softly, "And I made the Pink Ranger cry."

"After that", he adds with a grimace, "I 'donated' the outfit to Haunted
Verdun Manor, where Lance informs me it fell in the line of duty."

Where am I going?I don't quite know.
What does it matter where people go?
Down to the woods where the bluebells grow.
Anywhere! Anywhere! *I*don't know!

Fhaolan eeks, "I guess ye can do things *too* well sometimes. Never
occurred tae me tha' tha wee ones could truely be frightened."

The wolf thinks about his own costume idea, "Thanks, Wanderer. Ye made
me re-evaluate some things."

Wanderer suddenly becomes furry interested in his feet. "Yeah", he says
hesitantly. "It was ... surprising."

Wanderer looks up, startled. "Oh ... will you please post pics of both
fursions? I must admit to being curious."

Yours with a curious smile,

The lupine,
