A warning for users or those considering joining African Legends MUCK

Once again I've run into an abusive MU* administration. Some of you may
remember me from pointing out the unethical behavior of the Wild Spirits
MUSH ... I'm back to warn you against African Legends MUCK.
The place seems okay enough on the surface. Its another Lion King-based
MUCK (ugh, not really to my taste, but I had been promised the Lion King
FCs were a minor part - but having had a Shekon Wolf for about a year
and an eagle I used to try and fly to wherever other characters were
gathered to RP, there was virtually nil RP).
However, it holds some dark secrets, namely their 'Akida' wizard though
he has changed his name to something else (not sure what), then back
again. I'm sure after this incident, his name will be changed again so
no user knows who he is anymore. Akida has a repeated history of
stalking and harrassing folk for both OOC TS and hitting on them for RL
sex as well. What do I mean by stalking and harrassing?
What do I mean by stalking and harrassing? Rufio, a character he used,
did almost no RP at all outside of TS. Further, he focused most of his
TS on my own character, Nyigakali, despite repeated IC and OOC refusals
to his advances. It was not one time, not 5, not 10 but dozens over a
few months. I did not bother to log them, as I only tend to log decent
RP and/or incidents so disturbing that I felt I'd need to keep logfiles.
He did, however, modify his character's description to counter one of
the many pass-offs I made that the alpha of the wolfpack we were in
looked sexier. He still, many months later, maintains that physical
description (though after I publish this, he'll probably change it to
hide it).
Whenever it came to actual RP, almost invariably he would suddenly get
'sick' or tired and log off instead of RP. Hmmm, wouldn't be so bad if
African Legends were not supposedly an RP MUCK. Must be an RP allergy
...
On September 15th, an incident occurred that really stuck out in my
mind. He did his normal push for TS and, with a slight modification,
feeling I wouldn't be able to do anything on the MU* if he didn't get
what he wanted - I sickened myself by spoof-posing a modification of my
character's name to answer his poses. Another character signed on and
suddenly he whispered to me (OOCly) he wanted it hidden from them that
he was doing this because the character that signed on was the 'head
wizard' of the MUCK. Deceit?
That set off alarm bells with me, but he had made an obligation as a
Feature Character on a different MUCK that I RP on regularly. He has
not RP'd his Feature Character since March, although he's logged them
on. He usually just ignores anything going on, maybe occaisionally
giving a page or two, then logs off - but he's always back on African
Legends, ready to pounce and beg me for TS if I log on.
Last night was the last straw. He paged me with a 'hey sexy' when I
logged onto African Legends, and immediately logged his character in to
TS me. However, I was not there to TS, I was there with a singular
purpose - to ask him to log his FC on the other MUCK and RP.
He logged on, I gave him a TP situation update and indicated the next
stage of the TP was up to him; the other FCs on the MUCK needed for the
scene were logged on and ready. He suddenly logged off, no explanation.
I switched back to my A.L. window where he was still logged on, and he
said he just felt very ill ... convenient yet again. I was peeved at
him at this point; he would do nothing but harrass me for TS and even
wanted me to hide what he was doing from the other admins. I sat silent
in that window until Nikon wiz broadcast a long paragraph praising
Akida, saying what a great guy he was, etc. ... that just pushed me over
the edge and I decided it was finally time to report him. I'd already
decided, silently to myself, I was not coming back to A.L., but I
figured I'd at least give their admin a chance to come clean and remove
this individual from wizard status.
I paged Nikon and requested an mjoin to give my case against Akida. I
did not get -two lines out- when Akida barged into Nikon's MUCK office
and started verbally brawling with me, even though I whispered privately
to Nikon I did not want Akida there while I presented my case.
The argument continued and eventually got to this:
You bark, "See if this log from the 15th rings any bells ..."
Akida says, "Nyi. Its over"
Akida sweeps Nyigakali off to her home.
Nyigakali is sent home.
Re-read that -- I offer to present a log from the 15th and Akida
suddenly boots me out of Nikon's office in a pathetic but definite
attempt to keep me from presenting the logfile. This is like a corrupt
cop being allowed to throw someone out of a courthouse before they can
present evidence of their case.
A third wizard, Takua, was sent in to deal with me and to try and
convince me things would be fixed. However, I was told I would not be
allowed to know what happened and that pretty much told me they wouldn't
do anything beyond maybe a verbal reprimand. Akida decided to interrupt
my discussion with Takua, however, with private pages and I was forced
to @ignore him:
Akida pages, "You know, I don't know what your problem is. I really
just wanted to be left alone, because I've been throwing up all day. I
told you I was not interested in TS'n or RP'n over there. I figured
you'd have gotten the hint when I logged off, /proving/ that I wasn't
looking for sex of any kinds. The fact you are bringing this up is
simply degrading, because I've respected your privacy about your own
'sex life' outside of the Mucks. I always figured you an I were just
messing around as friends. This is about you an me not Rp'n on india
when it comes down to it, an I told the Wiz staff there that I was
giving up my FC, and I'm pretty sure Harita is going to do the same.
I'm walking away from this professionally and I honestly don't want much
to do with you again. I won't playfully flirt with you, I won't 'ask'
you to TS, an my character won't even look at yours twice. Happy?" to
you.
You bark, "Can I put Akida on ignore?"
You page, "Don't page me. I'm not talking to you anymore." to Akida.
Akida pages, "Then leave our Muck because honestly, what you are doing
is silly and its 'vengeful'." to you.
You page, "I won't ask you again." to Akida.
Player gagged.
