Although Amsterdam is now (over)crowded by thousands of
Orange-colored/clad people to celebrate the silver medal of the national
soccer team (with their boat-tour through the canals and a
mass-celebration at the Museum-square), I felt like checking out one of
my favorite second-hand record stores in the center of town.

Jan, the owner, told me, when I entered, that Dweezils dummer ("What's
his name? Oh yes, Joe Travers") had been in the shop last week (after
the concert). He (Joe) had heard that there was a wall in the shop full
of old black-and-white pictures of Frank when he visited Amsterdam in
the 70's.

So he admired them and took some pictures.

When I asked Jan if he (Joe) had bought some (Zappa)-records he told me
that he had checked the Zappa records (with perhaps 4 bootlegs) and said
that Gail would not like the presence of these.

Then he should certainly come to the Utrecht record-fair where you trip
over the Zappa-boots !!!

I will probably watch this Orange-madness in my town on television....

We missed Joe by a couple of hours on Saturday morning. But we did spend
money :-)
