Thanks for the heads-up!

I'm still listening to the program, but, one thought came to mind. When
Beefheart begins speaking in the early portion of the broadcast, I was
struck with how similar Beefheart's voice is to Billy Bob Thornton's
(who has stated he is a fan of FZ, and, I would imagine, Beefheart, as
well). Could it be that Thornton's manner of speaking is a slight
affectation in order to emulate Beefheart?

Thornton is a Beefheart fan. I read a magazine article about him
where the writer mentioned that Thornton bought him a copy of Ice
Cream For Crow because he thought everyone should own it.

BTW, Wait Wait Don't Tell Me used "Dancin' Fool" in the Bluff The
Listener game today.

I assumed he would be a Beefheart fan because he is such an FZ fan.

Glad you got to dig it. Great hearing Don on the radio even in a
bizarre format.
