As someone already mentioned, the list was covered in great detail in
Society Pages. I'm not about to go through the whole thing, but here are a
few corrections and additions.

Loeb

Wrong. That's Bob Kane. Bob Keene was the owner of Del-Fi Records.

Nick Venet was a producer at Capitol Records.

Road manager.

Wrong. Music teacher at Antelope Valley High School.

> ANIMAL HUXLEY

LA Freak related to Aldous Huxley (niece or granddaughter).

DalĂ (with an acute accent on the i). Catalan surrealist painter with a
big moustache.

Wrong. British film producer. Attributed with playing his trademark gong
on the Bonzos' "The Intro and the Outro".

> RUTHIE

It's Komanoff, and they hadn't met yet.

Music professor at Pomona College. FZ sat in on his class until thrown out
after a disagreement about Webern.

Okay, here are some of the holes filled in. Some of these have already
been answered by others--even me--but I'm working from Splat's galoot
update. Note that some of these names go in "runs," which helps in
making informed guesses...

Because her name follows Wilson's on the list, I think this is Wilson's
secretary, Phyllis Altenhaus. (Monster victim in Uncle Meat.)

R&B singer with the Meadowlarks.

No, he was the Mothers' road manager. I talked to Don Preston at a
concert Sunday night and he said he was still in contact with him. He
now lives in Nevada and flies a plane he built himself.

(I think the combination of the above three names indicates that FZ

Indian music to become popular in the west.)

These three were actors who played on The Untouchables. This show must

C. Dobbs.)

Singer with Johnny Otis show.

According to the newspaper report ("2 A-Go-Go-To Jail"), FZ's collaborator
was named Lorraine Belcher. So I think the identity of Lauren is still up
in the air.
