Where was the guitar solo performed? Did he play in Richmond in 1973?

The Frank Zappa Gig List <http://home.istar.ca/~culrich/zappa/giglist/>
has entries for concerts in Richmond on 11/3/72 and 11/2/74, but nothing
in 1973. Can you provide any details of date or venue?

Do you remember the band line-up? That would enable us to determine
whether the show was in spring 1973 or fall 1973, or if you got the year
wrong and it was actually one of the known shows in 1972 or 1974.

You guys are right. He played 2 shows at Richmond Va Nov. 3, 1972, at what
was then called the "Mosque" but is now the "Landmark Theater". Tim Buckley
opened. He performed (among others) "Rollo", "Montana", and an improv piece
"Why Do They Fry Everything In Richmond?", in which the reviewer states
"Musicians on drums, guitars, brass and reeds took turns playing in
interweaving lines. They created an audial dream sequence of suspended
relaxation."

I will scan the self-portrait as soon as possible (scanner busted).

Very neat, can't wait to see it.

You didn't happen to tape the show, did you?
