Well, I must say I could easily get to hate whoever it is that 'designed'
the Radio 6 website.

I just tuned in to catch George Duke only to find the Brecker Brothers
playing. So, tried to find a schedule so I could see if I was early or if
I'd missed George. Schedule? OK, I found one, but did it show a play
list? HELL NO!

Set up my Soundbridge anyway in case they had embedded artist info in the
sound stream. Excellent sound BUT NOTHING SHOWN except that it was Radio
6, which I already knew. No artist, no time, no playlist.

As it happens GD is now on and sounding great.

However, its so hard to find out whats on Radio 6 and when that I'm
unlikely to bother in future which is a pity, since they broadcast good
stuff and at high quality too. Kindly kick their nuts for me.

I am sorry, but I am only the messenger....;-)
And I can always mention it in the future on the NG when there is
something that might be interesting..
Did you hear me in the applause ?
I hope they will broadcast the finale (Uncle Remus)

They did! They DID! Many thanks for the heads-up and TIA for future ones.

I enjoyed the program a lot, especially the little bits of Conceptual
Continuity that got thrown in from time to time, e.g. the half line of
RDNZL at one point and the "FINE conductor". There were more than slight
overtones of Airto Moreira in the Latin American influenced pieces too.
