Probably also in the Country cross-over to Pop category too. If their
is such a classification/category.

I wouldn't call the majority of his records "rock" by any stretch of
the imagination.

No, I would call 'em rock and roll. They were not based on
anybody's hair getting good in the back, beyond the occasional
pompadour.
