Nice to hear a formal confirmation at least Braben is actually working on
the
game now. Just dont make it cute, I've had cute games coming out of my ears
lately.

Dont people make gritty simulations etc anymore? Whatever happened
to the space and flight sim markets they used to be the only reason to buy a
PC. Let have more Wing Commander and Privateer games and let have an updated
EF2000! Surely there must be someone wants to make these things.

But
Frontier was the best and will be really interested to see what Braben comes
up with for the new game but he has a lot to live up to he must be
extremely nervous about it - it could end up being the largest
disappointment in computing history to even rival Duke Nukem Forever.

Lets hope he makes good choices, makes the game realistic, include realistic
astronomical features and it absolutely must feature controllable planet
landings!!!

Someone, yes. Lots of people, unfortunately no. Many of these types of
trading games that have come out over the years haven't been met with
much success, even if they were well-reviewed. Unfortunately it's a
fairly small niche in the gaming industry, would that it be otherwise.
