Perhaps he is listening to an audio version? They didn't come with maps.

Well, they forgot to include an audible map. Somebody needs to get to
work on the technology to be able to read a map through the ears.

oh c'mon - whenever they describe a journey or city they can just give
enough information for you to draw your own.it's just laziness. Don't
they teach cartography in schools these days?

I got some very good quality maps. I was reading ebook back then, so i
have to find some pictures.(Sorry David, I did buy your Belgariad, but
Malloreon chinese edition haven't out yet, and I doubt it ever will.)
