I think it's safe to say they were accurate in the way all historical
documents written by the 'winners' are accurate.

Well in this case, we can compare what Irulan said with what actually happened
in the novels. Viewed from this perspective, we must ask, Did any event
described by the Princess Irulan actually occur in the novels?

Nah.

But I wish that episode in "In My Father's House" about where she went
to the loo during that Grand Gala and accidently dropped her tiara
down the toily had.

That was rich. :D
