What kind of music should be featured in a God Emperor of Dune movie?

Bach:

Once, after the death of a particularly superb Duncan, he had toured
great
musical performances preserved in his memories. Mozart had tired him
quickly.
Pretentious! But Bach . . . ahhh, Bach.
Leto remembered the joy of it.
I sat at the organ and let the music drench me.
Only three times in all memory had there been an equal to Bach. But
even Licallo
was not better; as good, but not better.

Perhaps Techno-Bach would be great God Emperor soundtrack music? ;-)

Like the synthesized Bethoven in A Clockwork Orange?

That might be cool. Or even synthesized Bach played backwards. But upon second
thought, I wonder now if Bach would suggest an antiquated atmosphere rather than
a world of the future probably most appropriate for God Emperor of Dune.

I don't know, Leto's empire was pretty rural.

I'd refuse to see it.

How about a "spaghetti western" score, ala The Good, the Bad and the

I'm trying to recall that sound track. I don't remember it as being that good.

Could we have Duncan riding on a horse to meet Leto for the first time led by
two face dancers wearing cowboy hats?

It wasn't:

As budget strictures limited Morricone's access to a full orchestra,
he used gunshots, cracking whips, whistle, voices, Sicilian Jew's
harp, trumpets, and the new Fender electric guitar, instead of
orchestral arrangements of Western standards à la John Ford. Morricone
used his special effects to punctuate and comically tweak the action—
cluing in the audience to the taciturn man's ironic stance.

A THORSE! Why not?

I was thinking; Duncan = The Good, Siona = The Bad and Leto = The
Ugly.

If I recall correctly, that type of approach to movie music is sometimes called
"Mickey Mousing it."

Wow. That would be cool in a God Emperor movie:

"This landscape reminded him of Caladan's lush gardens and made him wonder what
had become of the verdant planet where the Atreides had lived for so many
generations before coming to Dune. He could identify narrow roads, market roads
with a scattered traffic of vehicles drawn by six-legged animals which he
guessed were thorses. Moneo had said that thorses tailored to the needs of such
a landscape were the main work beasts not only here but throughout the Empire. "
