In Dune:

"Think you of the fact that a deaf person cannot hear. Then, what deafness
may we not all possess? What senses do we lack that we cannot see and cannot
hear another world all around us? What is there around us that we cannot --"

"Stop it!" Yueh barked.

Paul broke off, stared at him.

Why did Yueh become upset when Paul read his wife's favorite passage? Didn't
Yueh like that passage? If it was his wife's favorite, Why wouldn't he like
hearing it?

Maybe it was like a Wanna had a faboo fruit bowl. He might like fondling
the fruits in that bowl, but might sour at someone else's description of her
plums, grapes and whatnots....

Hey, but this wasn't something private. It was from the very popular Orange
Catholic Bible. It wasn't something Yueh could be possessive about.

Wasn't Yueh expressing his affection towards Paul by giving him Wanna's favorite
bible?

He was possessive of the memory, not the book. Hell, Tones, he was
selling out the Atreides Brat as he gifted him. People are complicated.
