http://www.silverdragonden.com has started our first ever Image contest.
Anyone is free to upload any image that *they* created. All images need to
be uploaded by July 1st, 2003. Once we have all the images, voting will be
open to all users of the site for 1 week. The winner of the contest will
get one of many different products with the special winners emblem (we have
a slew of different product you can choose from). You also win the respect
and admiration of your peers, and that's always good.

For more information or to upload an image, go here:

*ponders a moment*
I /do/ have a way to "scan" my art! I can take a picture of it with a digital
camera! Yeah!
*happy dance*
*wonders which pic he should enter*

Nah, I've decided on one, but I have to draw it first. }:=3D
The rest (here I assume the pics come out OK) I'll just upload.

Yay for Paint! Hey, I did all (read: three) of the graphics for my
previous website, and my X-Face, in Paint. They didn't turn out too bad,
even if the largest one is only 120x120 pixels.

And, I'm designing my new banner in Paint. I hope it turns out okay...

I like paint. It is a good program (I did my X-Face in it). But I have found
it too difficult to use to make decent quality art. It leaves distinct
"lines" between colors, unless you zoom in and can manually find shades in
between and do your own smudging. I leave paint now for digital editing, when
I want to edit out text (etc.) from a pic (like a date stamp that a digital
camara left behind, etc.) and I'm quite good at it.
