Weis has written other books that are not part of the "core". If you
want to include these in your sequence, you probably want to read them
in the order they were published, just to avoid accidentally finding out
any information that was not yet revealed.
1. The Doom Brigade
after Dawning of a New Age, before Day of the Tempest
2. The Soulforge
after Day of the Tempest, before Eve of the Maelstrom
3. Brothers in Arms
after Eve of the Maelstrom, before Dragons of a Fallen Sun
4. Draconian Measures
after Dragons of a Fallen Sun, before Dragons of a Lost Star
5. Dragons of the Dwarven Depths
after Amber and Iron, before Amber and Blood
6. Dragons of the Highlord Skies
after Amber and Iron, before Amber and Blood
You probably also want to get Dragons in the Archives to get all her
short stories. The first two in that collection can be read any time
after Test of the Twins.
While I'm at it, here's some more advice. Try to find an older edition
of The Second Generation--one with a Larry Elmore cover. You can find
the hardcover cheap: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/1560768223
The reason you want this edition is because the later editions leave out
the Appendix--which you will really miss when you read Dragons of Summer
Flame. Also, read the three middle stories first (they were originally
published independently), then the first story, then the last story,
then the appendix.
Here are some more fantastic books you shouldn't miss:
1. Lord Toede
after Second Generation, before Dragons of Summer Flame
2. "There Is Another Shore" from The Dragons of Chaos
after Day of the Tempest, before Soulforge
3. Spirit of the Wind
after Eve of the Maelstrom, before Brothers in Arms
4. The Odyssey of Gilthanas
after Brothers in Arms, before Dragons of a Fallen Sun
5. Chosen of the Gods
after Dragons of a Lost Star, before Dragons of a Vanished Moon
6. The Divine Hammer
after Dragons of a Vanished Moon, before Amber and Ashes
7. Sacred Fire
after Dragons of a Vanished Moon, before Amber and Ashes
8. Blades of the Tiger
after Amber and Ashes, before Amber and Iron
9. Trail of the Black Wyrm
after Amber and Ashes, before Amber and Iron
0. Shadow of the Flame
after Dragons of the Dwarven Depths, before Amber and Blood
