Hello, you on this forum are my last-ish hope for this...
I'm trying to use a quote from "The Restaurant at the End of the Universe" for my senior quote, BUT I need to find out if I need copyright permission to use it. can anyone help?

If the quote is not substantial, seems to be covered by fair usage,
that is my advice, without prejudice.

The general rule of thumb is that if you're not making money
off the reproductions it's okay, unless you want too much of it.

There are usually rules to allow quotation of things in academic works,
for criticism and the like, so at a guess you'll be fine -- Google
'copyright quotation [name of country]' and you'll get more information.
Either that or ask a librarian.
