You do know that GMT and UK time are not the same don't you?
GMT is Teh UK time with no DST, so no UK time is now GMT+1 and in the
winter it's GMT+0 (or is it GMT-0 I never can remember).
</nitpick>
The British Summer Act 2002 ties BST to WEST, but it didn't replace BST
with WEST. The two are different, and that difference means that if you
live in the United Kingdom your current timezone is BST, not WEST.
