I did do a coin drop for that spam, but not in a group you read.
Nowadays I limit it to one coin per spam run, and I try to pick
a group that hasn't had one inflicted on them lately.

5/10: I spent a few hours teaching fogheads what goes in the compost at
KaBOOM! This was interesting because KFOG paid extra for compostable
cups, plates, and flatware. I basically stood between them and the trash
saying "COMPOST!" "COMPOST!" "COMPOST!" while pointing to the compost
bin. One woman called me a recycling god. Many others said nice things.

Well, if they got hold of my texts, they'd know that my local Tesco
superstore is out of semi skimmed milk. They would also know whether my wife
wanted me to get full fat milk instead, or go across town to Asda instead.
They'd also know that my step-daughter-in-law is pregnant, and they'd have
loads of photos of my new kittens.
If they'd taken the stime to phone me or send me an email, I'd have been
happy to tell them all of that anyway.

The way I look at it, them bugging the line gives us one more reader,
maybe. If that person likes something enough to pass it around, then
we might get even more famous.
