Not sure, but I'd suggest searching the mobile web from WAP google.
Go to Search Options and choose Mobile Web.
I see suggestions that www.h2g2.com is wap capable but it doesn't seem to
work on my phone.

Hmm. What phone are you using? I have a Sony Ericsson T610. I went to
wap.google.com and searched for h2g2. Got the bbc website as the first
result. Went to the link and got a Betsie error.
Sid
Meant the link doesn't work, comes up with some "this is no longer a bbc
site" or "not a valid bbc site" error.
Nokia 6600. Had a T610, Vodafone branded and it was shit.
The h2g2 BBC site used to be available on the WAP but ever since BBC took it
over it hasn't been due to the BBC charter, apparently.
I don't know about other HHGG sites, though.

The problem with that is the memory fuzzyness effect involved. If you do
this on a regular basis, and if Tian does it, and probably even Iain,
then in some weeks we all will think only of the ian-something-guys with
the Boolean.

There's nothing wrong with a bit of memory fuzziness occasionally

Ah but we don't quite fit the whole Boolean thing. We can do AND OR NOT =
true / false and XOR. But the chances of getting an IF THEN are fairly
slim.
Cheers

I figured they could tell a three letter name from a
four letter name. Actually, that is rationalizing.
The fact of the matter is that I'm only allowed 255
bytes for my whole sig, and I want to use most of
them as a diary entry or something like that. As it
is, I frequently find myself thinking "what am I
going to do to make this fit?" Using more letters
deconfusing people just costs too much right now.
Maybe later...

I'm neither Ian, iain, Tian, nor Jan, but I do have a short

I insist that I may or maynot be any of Ian, Iain, Tian, Jan, Vain, in
pain, And most certainly may or may not be Gaz.
