Thanks for posting these. Looks like it was quite a fun day.

Any froupies spot themselves in the pictures?

Not likely to spot me. I was on another continent at the time. Or should
I say "not on that island."?

I'd love to see a close up of one of those yellow towels everybody has.
Looks like the hit item of the show. Anybody know more about them?

Sorry I didn't check this out sooner, looks like a good crowd having a
good time.

I have to ask about the background music (on the video). Where is that
from? I could've swore it was used in the Firefly series but I checked
and while close isn't quite right.

It's from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy!

The original radio plays used it, the movie used it. It's a track by
The Eagles called "Journey of the Sorcerer".

You know, I did think of that but when I went to het the Firefly DVDs I
spaced out the HHGTTG disc.

Which reminds me (hah! Forgetting something reminded me of something),
I've been considering a purchase of the phases as audio books. But I'm
confused by the phases, are the Primary and Secondary the same episodes
just reproduced wih different effects or actors?

Any recommendations on which to buy?

If by 'audio book' you mean the radio plays, then there are five Phases,
called Primary, Secondary, Tertiary, Quandary and Quintessential.
They more-or-less follow the five books.

The Primary and Secondary Phases are the original, predating the books.
The other three are the recent adaptations of the last three books.

The best way to get the whole lot is to buy the 14-CD box sets.

On the other hand, if you're actually after straight readings of the
books, then I'd recommend you beg, steal or borrow the editions of Douglas
Adams himself reading them. Well, don't steal them, but good luck finding
them now, they're long out of print.

I haven't heard the recent ones with Stephen Fry reading HHGG and Martin
Freeman reading the rest so I can't comment on them.

I've got these. I haven't yet had the chance to listen to them,
however.

Thanks for the Phase clarification. The descriptions on Audible.com were
less clear. I'll check out your shame-free plugs when I get back to a
suitable computing device.
