Mild mannered carpenter Jesus of Nazareth comes upon a huge crowd,
(typical byblical epic type). He beckons to an old woman trying to
push her way to the front.
Jesus: "What transpireth here, oh wisened hag?"
Old Hag; <who bears startling resemblance to Terry Jones> "Oh, I
dunno, someone said if we came here we'd all get a good feed. But all
ther is is a few bits of bread and a couple of fishes. If someone
doesn't come up with something soon there'll be a RIOT!"
Jesus <Thinks>" A riot, eh? Sound like a job for Christman!"
Jesus nips off to find a telephone booth which, unfortunately won't be
invented for the best part of 2000 years so there is a riot and this
continues for 2000 years (and more...)

No, it's just herbal tea (or chai or yogi tea). I don't think it will
taste in Glühwein, but if you're courageous, give it a try.

I always think that what I have been given is the
opportunity to experience that particular flavor and
aroma set. If you find that not having it any more is
a problem, you can go look for the same smell or label

Thanks! I have a large number of those things in the trunk

I see your point, but am still feeling that though I'd really like to
taste the nice tea which Till send me, I also don't want to use up the
nice tea which Till send me, because though I can probably get some
new in my health food shop, it won't be the nice tea which Till send

I know, I know: it's silly and irrational. I'll make the tea, and
drink it, today; and I shall think kindly of Till when doing so.

As well as the box I distributed last year I have an unopened box
which I intend to keep that way (collectors item and all that, even
though boxes and boxes of them turn up on E-Bay) so I guess I have 24
states of indeterminancy.

Which reminds me to buy some new tea of that kind tomorrow ;-)
I don't think it's silly and irrational (because I behaved the same way
last time someone gave tea to me; but finally I drank that tea, liked it
and looked for something similiar in my local shop).
So, hope you enjoy the xmas Real-i-Tea and our VirtualiTea, too!

Yesterday I went to the KPFA Crafts Fair in SF. I did a
lot of my Christmas shopping, geting such things as
nice soap for my sister, barets for her daughters, and
Merlot jam for my father. That jam has a nice flavor.
>"Woah- leave me out of this! I am a Brussels sprouts agnostic- i.e., not

A significant percentage of the munchies at Matt Gonzalez's
election night party were marinated and cooked Brussels
sprouts. People would spear them with toothpicks and eat
inbetween peices of beets and potatos that were in other
bowls on the same table. Very yummy, and toothpicks are
much smaller waste when all is said and done than plates
and cutlery!

The problem I have is that anything I'm given by anybody gains immediate
sentimental value, so instead of just being a bag of tea supplied by Till, it
becomes the Till Tea and no amount of the tea alone will ever be Till Tea, only
tea supplied by Till can be Till Tea. Most of my stuff becomes attributed in
this way, even if I buy it myself :P

If you drink it, then you will have in your memory a tea
time experience supplied by Till. It will be a one of a kind
memory, made the more special by knowing it was a
collaborative experience based on the shared memory of
DNA. In other words, not just Till Tea but Till Tea Time.
Only by adding the "third T' does it truly become an
ephemeral experience worth remembering and sharing
in words with froopies the world over!

Last evening I browsed in Hitchhiker by M. J. Simpson, a
biography of Douglas Adams at the bookstore I walk by in
downtown Mountain View. The title came from DNAs
time in Europe with "the Hitch Hikers Guide to Europe".
