Welcome to the web site of
artist Lynn Wade.
We hope you enjoy your visit
and come again, often!
Raised in Maryland's hunt country, Lynn Wade was a professional horse woman for
over 20 years before becoming a full-time artist. Her knowledge of horses is
absolute (she dissected them while attending Virginia's Morven Park
International Equestrian Institute), in the hunt field (as a Whipper-In) or the
barn (she managed large boarding facilities on both coasts) and the show ring
(where she began competing with her own hunter/jumpers at age six). Her career
has included 'ponying' race horses at Santa Anita, teaching up to 150 riding
students per week and breaking yearlings at a Florida Thoroughbred farm. She
was co-owner/creator of the official dressage saddle of the 1984 British
Olympic Team and has had over a dozen articles published in such worldwide
equine magazines as Polo and Equus.
Nationally known as an animal portraitist and magazine illustrator, her work
has, to date, garnered five American Horse Publications Awards nominations for
Best Drawing of the Year. She authored and contributed artwork to the book "The
American Academy of Equine Art Sketchbook of Horses at the Kentucky Horse
Park"published by Equus. Lynn's two- and three-dimensional work has been juried
into national shows at the Kentucky Derby museum at Churchill Downs, The Museum
of Hounds and Hunting, The National Dog Museum, The Pastel Society of America
and the Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club at the National Arts Club in New
York and the International Museum of the Horse at the Kentucky Horse Park. She
is a board member of, and juror for, the American Academy of Equine Art (AAEA)
and is that organization's only dual full artist member (for both painting and
sculpting).
As a hobby, Lynn competed her Jack Russell Terriers in trials in eight states
and was the first Florida State Representative for the Jack Russell Terrier
Club of America. Now residing in an adobe house at the base of the Sangre de
Cristo mountains in Taos, New Mexico, she enjoys trail riding 'Major', her 18.2
hand Belgian.
Lynn gives art lessons based on photographs of student work, through the mail
in service WADE ART CRITIQUES. She also teaches painting in workshops for the
AAEA and the Taos Institute of Arts .
On the internet, nobody knows you're a jerk.
Agreed.
Well, at least we finally know what/who has been killing all the animals at
the ranch.
Its sad Larry. Just plain sad. Blaming the coyotes and wolfs for the
deaths.

And I hate to say I agree with Hardin again - too much info -
she requires serious attention which Fred probably gives her,
plus it sounds like she's a great fit for the ranch, she gets
attention and kids will get a good teacher.

>"Ron Hardin"
So, with two wives in the Imus clan, both bogus-artsy and apparently
proud of it.
>> Too much hype. Something's seriously wrong with her.
