Evolution from Takatomon! I think I might do this every so often! So, on
with the review!
"Evolution" is about a fast evolving alien organism. (Of course everyone
knows this!)
The movie starts out showing a meteor(or asteroid or what ever) entering
earths atmosphere. It breaks up a little while entering. We them go to a
shot of fireman-in-training Wane. He sets a shed on fire and goes in to
rescue a female training doll. When he gets out he uses a recitation
procedure and then he sees a light in the sky. He then runs for cover then,
BOOM!! CRASH!! The meteor crashes into the underground caverns on Glen
Canyon. He is safe but his car is tossed into the air really high. We then
have Ira Kane and Harry Block, who are both teachers at Glen Canyon school,
talk and stuff. Ira is a professor and Harry Block is a Geologist and a
Girls Volleyball coach. They go to the site and find mushroom like organisms
growing on the ground. They take a sample of the rock which "bleeds". The go
and Ira checks it and sees it multiply and the slide cracks. Ira then tells
Harry. He and Harry go and take the the class to the site. They find it has
evolved into tapeworms(or flatworms). They take some and watch them divide.
He and Harry and the go to collect more samples and General Woodman stops
them. The go to court and Woodman wins.(FYI: Woodman is a DICK!!!) they go
to analyze what they have and the military has already taken it! We then see
Wane find a further evolved version of a fish like creature. He is working
as a pool-boy. We then have Ira and Harry sneak in to the site and try to
get a further evolved version. The get caught but have to take Harry to get
one take out of his back side. The get Yelled at then ...... a little fuzzy
because my little cousin kept bothering me.(FYI he is five yrs. old) We have
Wane bring a animal like version from the golf course. They then find out
Woodman will blow the Aliens up. They some how get another sample(cousin
bother) and some one throws a burnt out match stick into the sample and it
grows VERY FAST!! They try to tell Woodman but he acts like a jackass and
ignores Ira's calls. Ira looks at a shirt of some girl from Woodman(forgot
her name) who has the periodic table on the back. He then sees a pattern of
poison. We are oxygen based and die when exposed to arsenic and they are
carbon based and die when exposed to Selenium. Two idiotic students tell
them Head and Shoulders has Selenium in it and have got tons of it. They
fill a Fire-Truck with the Selenium/Head and Shoulders.(FYI it is Orange
AND THERE IS ORANGE HEAD AND SHOULDERS! My uncle has some.) The go to a
under-ground cave and try to start to destroy the but Woodman went early!!
The then have to destroy a REALLY BIG one. They go under it and push a hose
into it by a hole under it. It sucks up Harry and Ira pulls him out. The get
out just in time. They get honors and stuff.(In the movie it is not referred
to as the Genus as I heard it. And Alienators was made for the cartoon
only.)

Duh! Yes you reject from pre-school! Obviously if a Digimon is a he or a
she they have a gender! And yes they probably reproduce, but I won't go
back into that arguement even though I'd win AGAIN.

Of *course* they reproduce, and produce more of their own level - that
would explain the smaller MudFrigimon (the one saved from Behemoth was
visibly smaller than the village spokesmon, as were the ones Guilmon was
playing with, for example) seen all over the place in episode 27...

They're just referred to as male or female. Nobody cares if they do or don't(at
least I'd hope not...).
