Hi Guys

I've been looking for a cool, unusual Bowie t-shirt to wear this summer -
the few that I've found so far are rubbish - any good ideas?

The ones that the bootleggers sell outside the show are pretty
unique....very eye-catching....and pretty affordable ($5 to $10).
And, damn, thanks to the helpful household hints of folks on this
ng.....they last!!

If You Have A Computer Like You Do + A Printer.

Why Dont You Buy Photo Paper From Any Goog Computer Store Or Office World
And Print Your Fav Photo Onto A4 Size Paper And Iron It Onto A T.Shirt.

Because The Rip Off Artist's Do It On Ebay And Sell Them For Funny Money.

It's Worth A Try Mate.

Any Era You Like Any Photo Which Suits You Mate And Are Happy With You Cant
Go Wrong.

Give It A Try.

Your's.

I bought this one for myself for Xmas, and have gotten nothing but compliments
with it on...

the bowie lettering at the bottom does encourage doing your sit ups regularly

For real?
Will the image stay set??? Even with washings (provided you take all the
measures to turn it inside out and such)?

Here's a tip:

If you make a home made iron on print T-Shirt,
always give it a cold hand wash in a mixture of
water and vinegar and let it dry before wearing,
it makes the transfer stay on much longer.

I remembered that....and took your tip when I got a real cool bootleg
tee-shirt outside of San Jose ~ and again, a couple of weeks ago in Berkeley
(and, I hate to say it.......but these $10 bootleg tee-shirts are whoa-way
more cool than the "official" $30-$50 tee-shirts that are being sold at the
merchandise booths.......although I was sort of tempted to spring $40 to buy
a Polyphonic Spree robe <I kid you not....these were for sale.....one bloke
was even wandering around the lobby looking very proud as he sported his
robe.....even Bowie took notice of him in the audience).

But here's my question. I've got the photo quality paper. Just what is the
process for making the transfer?
Does the paper stick to the tee-shirt......or does the image just sort of
bleed it's way onto the tee-shirt?
Can it be done on all cotton tee-shirts? Can it be done on different
colored tee-shirts?

Not to worry....I'm not going to abuse my BILLYI EBAY BONDS and start
hawking these.
However, I would love to put the cover of ALADDIN SANE or an image of The
Thin White Duke on a tee-shirt so all the world can see that, at age forty,
I belong to rock and roll......

I think you can buy actual decal paper Billy and run it through your
printer. Then cut it out and iron it on. A guy at work told me about a buddy
of his earning a great living printing up the decals for people. Doesn't
even do the shirt bit just sells the decals.
My self being a product of the sixtys perfer to silk sceen them but that's
another story.

Freds correct, you can buy transfer paper for light or dark colored shirts.
