(MYFOX NATIONAL) - Rock star David Bowie has had a large, hairy, yellow
spider from Malaysia named after him: the Heteropoda davidbowie. German
spider expert Peter Jaeger, who has found 200 new species of arachnids in
the past decade, said that he named this spider after the singer to raise
awareness for endangered spider species.
