During our National Convention held on May 25, 2008 at The Buckhorn
Exchange in Denver, Colorado, Thomas Robert Stevens (New York) was
selected as the candidate of the Objectivist Party for President in 2008
and Alden Link (New Jersey) was selected as the candidate of the
Objectivist Party for Vice-President in 2008.

Membership in the Objectivist Party is currently FREE and is open to
everyone no matter what country you live in. If you would like to join,
send your full name and address (zip code included plus the state,
geographic region and country you reside in), e-mail address and contact

On Saturday, April 18, 2009, Dr. Tom Stevens, Chair of the Objectivist
Party, visited Ayn Rand's grave in the Kensico Cemetery in Westchester
County, New York at which he made the following statement facing the
grave with others in attendance as witnesses:

"We thank, honor and respect you for bringing Objectivism to the world
in the form of a coherent philosophy that has inspired millions to live
rational and productive lives and to reject faith and mysticism in favor
of science and reason. Unfortunately, your movement has spawned Toxic
Randroid Cultists who reject reason in the application of your
philosophy and who treat your every word on every topic as if it were
biblical truth. It is now time for others to carry the torch to bring
Objectivism to the world. The Objectivist Party is one such voice and as
its leader, I am one such Uberrand. I will use my own reason to apply
your philosophy to the many challenges we face in the 21st century."

As you contemplate your potential, keep the following Ayn Rand quotation
in mind:

"Do not let your fire go out, spark by irreplaceable spark, in the
hopeless swamps of the approximate, the not-quite, the not-yet, the not-
at-all. Do not let the hero in your soul perish, in lonely frustration
for the life you deserved, but have never been able to reach. Check your
road and the nature of your battle. The world you desired can be won, it
exists, it is real, it is possible, it's yours."

As you go forward with your productive endeavors, always keep the
following Theodore Roosevelt quotation in mind:

"It is not the critic who counts, not the man who points out how the
strong man stumbled or where the doer of deeds could have done better.
The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena; whose face
is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs
and comes short again and again; who knows the great enthusiasms, the
great devotions, and spends himself in a worthy cause; who, at the best,
knows in the end the triumph of high achievement; and who, at the worst,
if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly, so that his place
shall never be with those cold and timid souls who know neither victory
nor defeat."
