Hey, I just realized I haven't seen a single Crappy commercial since the
lawsuit got going. Does anyone have any idea what's going on with that?
I used to see Crappy all the time.

They are probably not doing any new ads 1) Out of spite to not
give Triumph any free publicity, or 2) To cover their legal asses in the
case, or 3) Giving him a rest while this all blows over.

On a similar note, I saw some ad-exec type people looking over
some proofs of new Crappy ads on the subway about two weeks ago. So there
are at least new prit ads somewhere.

It's also possible that the actor's strike has something to do with it,
although they never seemed too worried about running their old ads into
the ground. They could also be taking advantage of all the free publicity
and saving their ad budget for the fall.

When I went to a taping a few weeks ago, Mike Sweeney mentioned that after the
show, they'd be selling "Down With Crappy" t shirts. I WANT ONE!!! maybe I"ll
just make my own :)

Also, on Yahoo! Shopping's home page, they are now *selling* Crappy puppets
for $20 each. Un-freakin-believable.
