Was Knox really involved in Kercher murder?
[link] ...Prosecutors have asked for life imprisonment for the pair accused of murdering British student Meredith Kercher in Italy. Miss Kercher, 21, from Coulsdon, Surrey, was found dead in her bedroom two years ago. Her throat had been cut. Prosecutor Giuliano Mignini asked a jury in Perugia to convict... more »

V for Visual
Okay, I know it's going to screw up my stats to actually start a thread. And maybe you already discussed this and I missed it. Well blah blah blah. The meat of the matter: How did the October 2009 version of V (the miniseries) compare with the previous rendition of it? If I were to rent either version, which one should it be?... more »

Is Ebay broken?
I tried a search for ipod nano, and it gave me zero results (plus four sponsored non-auction sites for "touch" models.) So I tried it just for ipod. There should be several THOUSAND auctions for ipod at any given time. Zero results again.

Ping Nick (Agent 6.0)
Nick: Version 6.0 of Agent - is it worth the upgrade from 5.0? I'm reading the buzz in auo-rfa, which is very helpful, but I'm particularly interested in your personal opinion. Has anyone else here tried it yet?

Ping Charlie
WTF are you doing, Charlie? We've only just got Mark Brader to stop, and now you're at it? You may not agree with people's wish for some degree of anonymity here, but to deliberately flout it is crass. Was there some mistake? I'll not reply in that thread, but I'd be interested to reply to the article in another place, perhaps here, later.... more »

Summary November 20, 2009
A sniffer dog that went missing in action after a battle in Afghanistan has been found safe and well after more than a year in the desert On November 13, 1942, the Japanese launched a major effort to dislodge the US Marinces from Guadalcanal and Tulagi. One time, probably in 98 or so, I bruised a nerve in my elbow, and had... more »
