She played the villain in the latest episode shown here of the current
Doctor Who season, which we watched tonight. I didn't recognize her, but
caught her name in the credits. Went back and looked again, and there
she was, staring out of this wrinkly 74-year-old lady's face, and doing
a fine acting job.

I checked IMDB, and it seems that earlier this year she was in three
episodes of Game of Thrones, which I don't watch. Her last film or TV
work before that was in 2006. Wikipedia indicates she did some stage
work in the interim.

She'll never be Emma Peel again, but I'm pleased she is back.

In article <XnsA1B9D1C...@69.16.186.50>,
From her Wikipedia bio:

"Rigg lived with Philip Saville. Her marriage to Menachem Gueffen, an
Israeli painter, lasted from 1973 until they divorced in 1976. She was
married to Archibald Stirling, a theatrical producer and former officer
in the Scots Guards, from 1982 until they divorced in 1990. The marriage
broke up when Stirling had an affair with actress Joely Richardson.
With Stirling, Rigg has a daughter, actress Rachael Stirling, who was
born in 1977."

And as someone noted earlier, actress Rachael Stirling was in the Doctor
Who episode, playing Diana Rigg's character's daughter.
