After much thought, I've decided to start translating one of the audio drama cassette tapes of Bubblegum Crisis released back in 1990, which is the 2nd volume called "To Love-ru Wars". I've managed to transfer both the first volume, "One Little Dangerous Knight Saber", and this one onto my computer many months ago but was unsure whether I wanted to translate them with some video editing to sync up with the voices and story. I used to be a somewhat regular in alt.fan.bgcrisis a decade or so ago while I had an MSN account. That account is defunct and I lost track. Thanks to the miracle of the Internet and modern social media, I've come across this group again. I'm not sure what time has done to activity in this group and the fandom, but I at least wanted to start off by saying "hello" and seeing if there was anyone here who might remember me. Finally managed to transfer the karaoke/instrumental versions of "Say, Yes!" and "Never The End" onto my computer. These were only released on the cassette tape single of "Say, Yes!" for some reason and were left off the mini-CD single release of it.
Thought I'd share them with you guys since it's pretty rare and I have never seen anyone else mention them, let alone see any uploads of it on the internet. (although I'm not sure if you guys even knew these existed)... more »

Grand Mal. Why the dislike?

So, I was digging through a trader's bins at a Con there two weeks ago down in Galway, and I found a copy of Adam Warren's Grand Mal.
Honestly, I'm not sure why people dislike this so much.... or maybe it's just a matter of the loudest bell ringing for longest.
The colours and artwork are vibrant and almost electric....I really liked the artwork straight off the page. It screamed 1987, garish, bubblegum-y and all alive. It's printed from neon at times.... more »
