1 thing...

Is it just me, or are the vast majority of topics being started by
myself and 'that other person'. Damn, I don't want to spam.

Anyway, I've been chewing away at my Yours Truly fanfic... and it was
politely suggested to me a few months ago that I host it on a website
somewhere.... as tradition dictates. It also gives me a chance to muck
around with Dreamweaver, and experiment with some technical things,
which I need to do for a college course.

Anyway, here it is: http://dartzirl.110mb.com

It's basic alright, but it's got the retro-futuristic look I want.
Right now, there's not much there, other than the first four parts of
YT.... which are web viewable, and have a download option. There'll be
a short guide to what BGC is, and some links to a few fansites, but
that'll come at a later date. I'm not sure what else I can add,
however. I might also add a few random background elements, or
extended scenes that I decided not to use.

Any suggestions as to what else can be added?

Anyway, whatever happens to it, it's a new BGC fansite.... ye God's.
Also, try clicking on a few of the ad's :)

The site's hosted on 110mb.com.... I hate to be a bloody shil, but
this is a really good deal. 110mb of webspace, 10 Gb bandwith, free.
No ads. And a load of free applications to install.

It happens. There are times when us old-timers just don't feel like
posting...

"No scripts, no flash, just the content."

Thank you!

To the story, or the website? The story is yours to write as you please.
The website looks good so far; you'll either come up with something to
add to it, or not, as the case may be. Don't sweat it too much.

Hmmmmm... Those look familiar for some reason... ^_^

Heh.... I suppose eventually one of us will post something that will
trigger a new conversation that doesn't decend into an Alemann
hatefest

I know. I browse with noscript generally, and a lot of flash/jscript
gimmicks are annoying as hell. It's also a good way to get viruses,
and most sites are compromised through stuff like that.

I suppose. I was *thinking* of adding a forum, but nobody would really
use it.

Well. :) I thought it'd be fun. I'll try do more of the same.

Done and done :) -more or less

Also added summaries up to chapter 10, which is what I've planned out
so far, and a prototype of Episode 5. Now I just need to get the other
page with character profiles, pictures and basic information up. Maybe
during the week sometime when the CMS feels like bothering to do it.

It's called "a draft".

AFAIK he hasn't actually written anything of his episode 5 yet, so
maybe "an outline" would fit better.

I split the files because of the sheer size of it, and decided to call
the new one part 5. Otherwise, there would've been nearly 200 pages to
it. Give me more time to have Mason burn in a Lithium battery fire.
and do a few other things.

That would be cool if it had that "Fallout 3" look to it, or the 50's
advertising.

And with BGC to do what?

That'd be cool alright, but it's a difficult graphic to make. I'm no
artist, I'm afraid. Also, using tables in HTML leads to really quick
loading of the website. I'm trying to limit the humber of images and
such where possible.
