Hey, guys, I haven't been on here for years, and I was just wondering who's still around. I saw posts from Rob Kelk and Dr. Raven; who else is still around? Jeanne? Amanda? And I don't know any of the new gang around here...

I think a few of them still lurk.....

Though I think a lot of it has migrated to Facebook.

I still lurk. There's almost no traffic on the group these days; even Gaza hasn't posted in google only knows how long. I can't imagine the old guard gave up on BGC, so I'm guessing they've simply moved the discussion somewhere else. Can't say I blame them. A new element blew into town and just stank the place up. Worst part of it was they weren't trolls; they were just young, arrogant, stupid little shits that destroyed the atmosphere.

But I'll keep lurking until the group officially dies.

Without any new BGC to talk about, and with the disintegration of the
community that used to be here, there isn't much reason for anyone to
post here unless they're writing BGC fanfic... <sigh>

I wander by every so often, look in but don't see much. Both Amanda and Bert are busy, and I'm trying to establish myself as a writer.

Does anyone know what happened with the BGC live-action movie that was supposed to be filming?

I think the recession killed it.

Didn't stop this site from reviewing it.

Lady Battle Cop looks familiar somehow. Perhaps it's the helmet.

Well, I'm glad to see that at least a few of the 'old guard' are still hanging out. I think I found Jeanne and Amanda Stairs over on Facebook last night (sent the friend rquests and all) but I'd love to know if anyone else is over there as well. Like you guys, I suppose I'll lurk every so often and see what turns up. Nice to talk to ya'll again, BTW!

Actually that review was completely made up, ages before the live-action film was even announced.

Kinda sorta. Looks closer to Robocop for me, tho.

Or trying to get a feel of the genre for something that isn't quite BGC but very, very inspired by it. (provided I ever get past writing individual ooc scenes and into writing actual chapters)

Still drop by every once in a while.

Ravensgarage.com is sill up and running, and strangely it keeps slowly expanding because I am picking up BGC sites that have gone 404. Haven't had any time to write because my musical interests have taken over. Still hoping to finish BG Cross. Jeena Malso taps (or maybe punches) me on my shoulder every so often and asks when I am going to get her part of the story into gear.

Can you make your website more widescreen friendly? My monitor puts the entire site to the right instead of positioning it in the center.

This is my first time on here since April something, or whenever I had Amanda on for our old podcast review of BGC.

Raven, I thought you were dead or something, good to hear from you.

Just dropped in for my 6 month checkin and we've got udpates!

Hmm, that's odd about the website. It's all the way to the left for me. I'll check the code but I don't think there's anything that would cause it to shift to the right.

Rumours of my demise are greatly exaggerated ;)
