Quick newsgroup summary: About 2 months ago, I was playing around with
the news daemon, and got into some related research in the man on Pnews,
inews, rn, trn and the like. In the process, I discovered how to create
a newsgroup. Now, being the good otaku I was, I newsgrouped 'alt.fan.Priss
.and.the.Replicants'... it was not to be. 2 days later, the axe fell.

Anyway, it eventually led to me exchanging mail with several people;
including Raa (Hi Raa!) and Carmen Spray, who's writing the BGC fanfic
"Tokyo Epoch." Carmen even founded a BGC mailing list, with the address
csti...@efn.org. Sadly, it is now defunct.

And now, here we are. I have to admit I'm a bit miffed. :] I guess
alt.fan.P.a.t.R wasn't good enough, oh well. So; welcome to alt.fan.bgcrisis!

To address some questions:

GPCC: Was the company is charge of the Genaros station where Anri and Sylvie
escaped from with the DD via that 'shuttle' (That's a SHUTTLE?! How big is
a whole STARSHIP?) The man in charge there, Flint, shielded Largo from view
until Largo took over GPCC and put his plans in action, ultimatly leading
to the great fight scene in #6.

Adam Warren and the BGC Comic: According to what I've heard, and this
IS hearsay, so don't think it's the literal truth. It's going to be dark,
violent and perhaps a bit bloody. Carmen, if we can get her to post, can
give you a complete synop, Adam Warren sat down next to her at AA and
pulled out his sketchbook and let her look at it.

Bubblegum Smash: The news is not good here. Again, this is more rumor and
hearsay, so correct me if I'm wrong and don't believe too much of what
I say. ;] The same people who did Crash! (Polydor/Artmic) will be
doing Smash. I don't know if Sonoda will be back to do mechanical designs
again. I don't know who will be voice acting for whom.

Uh... no quite. GPCC did not own the Genaros station. The space company
SDPC owned the Genaros station. The ORCA shuttle contained the D-D
Battle mover that Genom had secretly developed and had hoped to sell.
GPCC was a Genom owned center though it manipulated the SDPC in developing
the D-D to get around laws.
