The procedure is simple:
1) Wait 20 years until the Internet is developed enough that you can
order from a shop in Japan.
2) Remember that BGC was not the massive hit in Japan that it was in the
US at the time.
3) Figure out exactly what to search for, especially if the site doesn't
have a picture.
4) Order the book.

Price was $20 plus shipping. It was part of a larger order but I would
guess the shipping was around $15 when I divide my order among the items.
Maybe more. Still not the price this used to sell for.

Awesome!

Getting any merchandise is tough in this neck of the woods, however.
But oddly satisfying when you find it....
