Well, it doesn't look like much is happening on this group, but I just
wanted to correct this mistake: Richard Curtis wrote for Not the Nine
o'clock News, not Ben Elton.

Maybe the "Bob" was taken from the Blackadder series which of course little
Benji had a hand in writing. There was a girl called "Bob" in Blackadder II
and Blackadder goes Forth.

As for the surname, what a cracker, I wish I had as interesting a name as
that.
