ManilowDirect/ArtistDirect

Thanks to a friend who pointed this out to me, it looks like
ManilowDirect is handing over merchandise sales to ArtistDirect. They
appear to be working on the Manilow.com website. Click on the yellow
ManilowDirect box at the bottom of the page, and you go to ArtistDirect,
and I might mention that Barry's picture there is very nice. (The link
up where it says, "For music, merchandise & more, visit ManilowDirect"
on the Manilow.com site still takes you to the old BuyManilow.com site.)

And if you go to http://www.artistdirect.com and click on the Barry
Manilow store, you'll also get to the same place -- Barry's merchandise
for sale on a site that has an 800 number for customer service, plus
they are established, and reputable. You can pay with a Credit Card,
check or money order. And they take care of International customers.
They have Order Status and ORDER TRACKING!!!!!! What a concept!

Maybe someone finally kicked the right butt. Or maybe someone is still
passing on our comments to you-know-who. Whatever the case, my
heartfelt thanks to finally treating Barry's fans like true customers.
Maybe the squeaky wheels are finally getting some grease. :)

I find that extremely hard to believe. This company is handling
merchandise for the Backstreet Boys, Diana Ross, Dick Clark, Guns &
Roses, Janet Jackson, k.d.lang, Kenny G, Kenny Loggins, Mariah Carey,
NSYNC, and it goes on and on. Stiletto has been so inbelievably
horrible with Barry's stuff, I just can't believe they're running
ArtistDirect. Some of these artists wouldn't stand for the type of poor
business practice Stiletto has been guilty of, IMHO.

ArtistDirect is most definitely its own company headed up by a man named Marc
Geiger. They own Kneeling Elephant Records, imusic.com and ubl.com, among
others, and went public a few months ago. Thinking you don't have to worry
about a Stiletto connection.
