When did Barry start using the backdrop saying Dew Drop Inn? This
tour? What song?
I'm very curious as this is a well known family owned "bar/restaurant"
in a city he has toured in since 1976, Reading, Pa., my home town.
Just wondering if he stole the name?

I think he used the Dew Drop Inn sign back in '78, if I'm not mistaken. He
must've dragged it out of mothballs for the Ultimate Manilow special. Haven't
seen it on this tour at all.

I think nearly every town has (or had) a Dew Drop Inn - there was one in
Yonkers, NY, too. :)

The Dew Drop Inn was in 78, its on the Greek video:), along with the tacky fish
etc.

There is a Dew Drop Inn in Las Vegas as well. It happens to be a country/western club.

It's off the beaten path and we discovered it one day while driving around. I had to take a picture of it because we were laughing at the thought of Barry playing a country bar. Those rednecks just wouldn't appreciate him. lol JW
