Its been 4 weeks. I know they said to be patient that it would lake a
few weeks but I'm beginning to wonder if we'll ever get the photos.

Here's the latest:

"THANK YOU FOR COMING to A Conversation with Barry Manilow!

It has been great hearing from so many of you over the past few weeks about your wonderful experiences at A Conversation with Barry Manilow. We are so thrilled that you were there with us to experience this incredible treat, and to share this important moment for our company with us.

PHOTOS WITH BARRY!

For those of you who had the opportunity to have your picture taken with Barry after the event, we promise to be in touch very soon about how to purchase the photo(s). We are currently working with Stiletto Entertainment to set up some sort of database on a webpage where you can all view, select, and purchase your photos. We are doing everything on our end to ensure the speedy arrival of those photos so that we can get them into your hands and hanging on your walls in no time. We are so grateful to Barry for taking the time to connect with each of you and we truly appreciate your patience as we work out the details.

THE MANILOW ARCHIVES

THE MANILOW ARCHIVES include Manilow's personal audio and video archive - and the full audio from NYTB's benefit A Conversation With Barry Manilow can be found on the site! You may view all and select to see a free preview, view all and purchase a single download, or you may view all and purchase an all access subscription. "

Maria had commented about how much these photos would cost ... Which led me to wondering ... Whether you attended the event in NY or not...

How much would you be willing to pay for a good photo of you with Barry?
How much would you pay for a crappy photo? (You know, when somebody's eyes are closed, that sort of thing).
Do those numbers change if you know 100 percent is going to charity?

My answers ...

$100 for a good photo, $50 for a crappy.

And honestly, the charity aspect doesn't matter to me. I mean, it's nice if it can go to charity, but in the end ... I can afford what I can afford.

Next?

Frankly, so much time has passed, the excitement has as well. It was a great moment - getting to look into Barry's eyes and utter some sort of gibberish because I am never coherent when I am near him. But, since the $100 figure was planted in my brain, I think that would be my limit for any photo no matter what the cause.

What's really bugging me about this is somehow ... some way ... TPTB found a way to kill the buzz that came out of this great event.

When I first posted on my FB page about having my photo taken with Barry, all my friends were excited, said they couldn't wait to see it, etc.

Now I'm getting emails from some of these same people asking me when they're going to see this now-doubted-to-be-in-existence photo. It really pisses me off ... It shouldn't take a month to see a photo. Hell, when I have my picture taken at the amusement park, that picture is ready for purchase before I walk out the front gate.

Maybe it's just not a huge priority for Stiletto right now. It's really too bad.

What a great question Brenda, I am going to say maximum $200 for a great photo, $50 for a shite one. Maria you made me smile with your gibberish comment, that so would be me too.

I am sorry for you folks who were at this event don't have your photos yet, like you, don't understand the delay. Fingers crossed you have them in your mits very soon.

I had my photo taken with Jillian Michaels (granted, not as big a star, but well known) at the Warner Theatre here in DC a few weeks ago.

The photographer posted the photos within 2 days on the Warner Theatre facebook page, and sent me one without his "logo" on it ... just for asking.

It's so nice when someone says "sure -- happy to do it" without asking for anything in return.

You're right -- they should have struck while the iron was hot (within a few days -- not a month later) as the excitement of the photo (for the casual fans) has probably worn off by this time. People have probably forgotten that they even had a photo taken.

We were suppose to get receipts as well for our donations and those haven't come either.

It was a wonderful event to attend -- and I hope he does something like it again. But I'd sure like to have my photo! :-)

A friend of mine called the NYTB just a few days ago; they said they were working on it, but blamed Stiletto for the delay. The same friend asked Garry about the photos at the Greek, and was told they knew nothing. I guess since it was a last minute addition to the event and not planned in advance, no one is clear who is supposed to be responsible.

I do believe we'll eventually get our pictures, but like you, I am frustrated it is taking so long.

All I can say is "Wow!"

The photos are being gifted to us ... No charge.
Wow!

We are invited to send in donations (which I intend to do.)

This is a sweet deal, and was well worth waiting for.

Thank you, Barry, Garry, Sheilah, Jason, Joe and both the NYTB and STILETTO teams. You guys really made my Monday ... And probably my week. Month. Maybe even my year (which has mostly been a stinker for Yours Truly!)

Thank you again and again!

I just clicked on the link in the email and was taken to the Flickr site to view all the photos myself! Interestingly, I only recognized about 4 people...and Barry, of course. Cool that others were allowed to see these pics!

Thanks for the link. I wonder why there were so many duplicates of the same pictures? I should think Barry's face was frozen into that smile by the time they'd all been done. At one point I thought they could have used a model of him and just slotted the people into the pose with him as so many looked so alike. Anyway, a great souvenir for those who were at the event.

Actually, they aren't duplicates. I think the photographer took 2 or 3 of everyone a split second apart just in case someone blinked, or was just shell shocked at Barry's generosity of posing for these photos.

We were all incredibly surprised -- and I'm sure it showed on our faces!

We have been asked if we share the photos on any social media sites to give the photographer credit -- so a huge THANK YOU to Bruce Glikas. :-)

I disagree Irene. Not only did Barry look good, many of the women were hot looking and you don't have to be 40 or under to be hot looking. I liked the woman with the leopard coat the most, but most of the folks looked attractive to me. Marvin

I'm sure after doing 50 or more of these a night, he's probably figured out all his best angles to pose for the camera. Also, remember that Stiletto (Barry?) had to approve them first. I have to wonder if that's why a few people only have two shots instead of three? ;)

> We all looked so happy. Probably because we were. :-)
> And How lovely to see friends looking as overjoyed as I was. What a lovely, lovely day that was.

I couldn't agree more. Overjoyed is the perfect description. My own photos all have my eyes squinted almost completely shut. I was a little disappointed until I realized it was because I was smiling so broadly! I was so genuinely happy that I was foolishly grinning from ear to ear.

So, although some of us may not be especially photogenic, I choose to remember how good I felt at that moment on the inside instead of fretting about how I appear on the outside. :)

The photographer's camera was set to automatically shoot several shots at once. You could hear the "click click click" as the pictures were taken. The photos are not duplicates but are taken only microseconds apart.
