WHY do they always have that twit Carolyn host his appearances on
QVC. The broad never shuts up. I know it's her job to sell, but
please, she doesn't even take time to breathe.

DAMN.

And, of course they are going to have her yapping thru it - as they
don't want people to bootleg the songs and have them without buying
the product. It's her job to sell ... we just don't wish to hear her.

I don't like her either, but to be fair, Barry will probably sing 5
or 6 songs on the show- and that's a lot more than he would probably
do on any other television appearance, so I prefer to see Barry on QVC
than any other show. Marvin

I personally don't have a problem with her. Any show host they have
would talk far more than he would any way, because that's their job.
Her job is to sell Barry to the QVC audience and many of those people
are not hardcore fans. Her job is to educate her audience about
Barry's career as well as sell his current CD. Also, she has a
background in the entertainment industry so that's why she's always
the host when he's on and not one of the other QVC hosts.

I think as long as Barry sings 5 or 6 songs- as he did when QVC
had the first telecast of the premiere of the greatest songs of the
decades series- she is fine. But lots of people were annoyed with her
and QVC when they had a special with Barry live in Boston in concert
and in the hour long show, instead of us hearing Barry do five or six
songs, we only heard the end of his opening medley and a snippet of
Weekend In New England before they went off the air. In that
broadcast, she overselled and should have just left Barry sing with
the advertising captions running on the bottom of the screen. I
honestly think that Barry singing songs does more for the selling
efforts than her hard-selling the CD. Marvin
