Another �70s pop crooner coming out of the woodwork is Barry Manilow with In
the Swing of Christmas (Arista). Its strengths lie in the jazzy arrangements
that add life to the easy listening of Manilow�s smooth-as-eggnog vocals,
although I�m wondering why anyone thought homage to Barbra Streisand�s
hyperactive version of Jingle Bells was a good idea.
