Dear God but I am tired. That being said, here is the first of the
recaps for the MDRF run in 2008. You know the drill, times, order,
places and names will be forgotten and misplaced. No insult to anyone…
ready? Then away we go…
PREPARATIONS
So the week had been a flurry of preparations, rehearsals, and more

 Ahoy Dean!
Yes, we are aware of the Seadogs in California. There is also a Sea
Dogs out of New Jersey. Hence, we decided to go with the more archaic
spelling of Sea Dogges to hopefully avoid confusion. Since we are
based out of Missouri, I doubt our gigs would overlap, though it's
nice to dream big and think we might someday play some of the same

Congratulations on assembling a new musical group. I'm sure it is very
exciting for you and I hope you get lots of successful gigs.
I cautiously ask if you were aware of another musical group called The
Seadogs out of California. They've been performing together since about
1980 and are generally considered to be a Band of Notariety in the faire and

I am writing to announce the arrival of a new music group on the
festival and faire circuit. The Sea Dogges, based out of Springfield,
MO, feature tight harmonies accompanied by numerous string instruments
and drums. This exciting group performs a diverse repertoire comprised
of both traditional sea shanties and original compositions. The Sea

7th week begins, with the last two classes. Schedule is such that much of
these two involves discussing readings, and nearly everyone participates.
Generally fun, and some learning has clearly taken place. Nothing left but
to get the last written papers, and then read and grade, ideally before
leaving for Ohio. So, starting Thursday, time to get packing (literally).
