We are about 50 days out from opening weekend, and I thought I'd post
a call for participants in the faire.
We have yet to reach the date of our fourth anniversary, but
Middlefaire's built village already spans roughly four acres with over
twenty booths and buildings, power, city water, flushies, and we are
advertising with two billboards on Interstate 35 (one of the busiest
highways in America).
One of the things we don't have enough of yet--out here in corn
country, eighty miles from Dallas--is people. The human element.
We need:
-Cast members (especially people interested in being Royals)
-More woodcrafters, fantasy crafters, potters, costume crafters,
sword, and armor vendors
-SCAdians (this is an SCA-friendly faire)
and
-Playtrons.
In addition, we are looking for new talent troupes willing to perform
in an informal, easygoing schedule, for tips, barter, and free vendor
space.
This is one of the fastest growing faires in the sun belt, and if you
are interested in getting involved with us, please contact me to
discuss further details.
