Reports have surfaced that other possible landing spots like the Chicago
Bears and Seattle Seahawks won't happen. The New England Patriots,
Washington Redskins, Cleveland Browns and Miami Dolphins haven't been
shot down yet. We still think Tebow will find a gig in the United States
as a quarterback. And not as a member of the Omaha Beef.

McNabb on Tebow

Donovan McNabb shared his thoughts on how realistic a position change is
for Tim Tebow. McNabb's answer? Not happening. As McNabb puts it, Tebow
is not an athlete -- if he were picking guys to play pickup basketball,
Tebow would not make the team. Ouch.

Is that the same McNabb who recently totally flamed out for the Vikes
and the Skinnies?

You know, if I owned a team like the Jets, or about 5 or 6 other
QB-challenged teams, I'd consider picking Tebow up for virtually free
(no impact on my draft, small salary) and building up other positions.
Then I'd institute a wide-open option offense.

I'd even line up in a wishbone every once in a while, which would mean
defenses (after their gaping jaws shut) having to add a new set of
formations.

Of course, Tebow wouldn't last long, but I bet they'd score some
points and keep the fans interested until they can get the team
rebuilt.

I see teams not dressing up 3 quarterbacks, preferring to have another
position player available.

Hello Cleveland, are you listening?

Marv Levy tried that when he was with KC, even back then the LB's speed
made it a loser formation.

Yet for some reason the idiots in J-ville can't see that - way to flush
your team guys.

So you make him play some H-back too - problem solved.

That plan would not send the right message to an organization from top
to bottom. Tebow's finished as a QB, he needs to change positions if
he wants to have a chance to make it in the NFL.
